He plans, He plans, You plan, I plan, We plan, They plan,
We all plan.. but indeed, Allah always has a better plan for us all.
A series of pregnancies and miscarriages has taught me a lot. Do I give up? Inshaa Allah I will not. Yet the most notable thing is to know that I am blessed with many wonderful things in life, except for a little one/ little ones to make myself a mother again. No. I am not complaining. I am just saying.
Look around, Zue. You are blessed with a very understanding husband who is willing to go through the ups and downs in life. Who patiently be there for you awake and asleep. Who loves you no matter how absurdly messy, or dramatically silly, or ridiculously grumpy, or wildly crazy you may be. Inshaa Allah... he will always be there.
Look at your family and your in-laws. They are your other definition of happiness. And your career, friends, students, and neighbors - they are all amazing. What's more to ask for?
The point is, we may not have everything we want in this world...but we are blessed with everything we need. He gives not what we want, but what we need. Alhamdulillah... Alhamdulillah... Alhamdulillah.
La tahzan. Keep on praying.
One day, may you get pregnant again. May you safely give birth to perfect little caliphs who will do well in here and the hereafter. May you be an amazing wife, a doting mother, a great daughter, sister, and friend, an inspirational educator, and a much better person.
Inshaa Allah.. Amin
